Commercial and Gallery Space
LKW Architect worked with The Greer Galloway Group Inc. in Peterborough to design an addition to The Old Railroad Stop, a restaurant and convenience store situated on the edge of Rice Lake on the Hiawatha First Nations Reserve. The programme consisted of retail space for convenience items along with gallery space for First Nations arts and crafts. The addition was built around a 19th century log cabin and serves as the focal point for the space.
